Blue Point Brewing Taps BRANSTORM as PR Agency of Record
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – BRANSTORM PR today announced it has been named agency of record for Blue Point Brewing, one of the fastest growing craft breweries in the country. Blue Point, founded in 1998 and based in Patchogue, NY, is rapidly expanding in the southeast. Financial terms were not disclosed but the deal is national in scope.
“BRANSTORM has been instrumental with Blue Point’s Charlotte marketing efforts including negotiating our exclusive beer sponsorship of Charlotte Restaurant Week that begins this Friday,” said Peter Cotter, president of Blue Point Brewing. “We’re really pleased with the results to date and look forward to expanding the relationship as we continue to enter more markets in the southeast this fall.”
Blue Point’s flagship brand, Toasted Lager, has been gradually gaining tap position all over Charlotte from new hotspots like Dandelion Market in Uptown to more established venues such as Selwyn Pub, Gin Mill, Ed’s Tavern and Fox and Hound. It will be sold in bottles during Charlotte Restaurant Week at some higher-end restaurants including The Palm in SouthPark and The Speedway Club at Charlotte Motor Speedway. It can also be found at Harris Teeter and Total Wine.
